Learn about programs from Sandy Hook Promise and CreateCA that can lower the likelihood of school violence by improving school climate; and how to advocate for them at your school
Find out which school and community programs are imperative in gun violence prevention; and hear from Schools and Communities First and Californians for Justice what you can do to help secure funding for them
Hear from community organizations like March for Our Lives, Justice for Miles Hall, and Moms Demand Action with opportunities to take action on the local, state, and national level
Learn what PTAs are authorized to do and what they aren’t authorized to do; specific National PTA and California PTA resolutions and position statements that provide guidance and support
