Attend the Thirty-Second District PTA Leadership Academy
Whether you’ve served on a PTA Board before or are a brand new PTA leader, the Leadership Academy is meant for you. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn best PTA practices or refresh what you already know, to ensure you are prepared for a successful 2017-18 school year.
Thirty-Second District PTA’s Leadership Academy is our annual day of training and networking for all unit and council PTA leaders in Contra Costa County. It will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Willow Creek Center in Concord. Check in begins at 8:30am, the Association Meeting starts promptly at 9:00am. Early registration is $20 before noon on Wednesday, May 17 and late-registration is $25 after noon on May 17 through Friday, May 19 at noon. Our day begins with a continental breakfast followed by a brief Association Meeting. Afterwards our dynamic incoming California State PTA President, Dianna MacDonald will give a keynote address. We are excited to welcome Dianna. She will start her term on July 1. Honorary Service Awards will be presented and our incoming 2017-19 District PTA board will be installed followed by a presentation “Running your PTA – A Training for All PTA Officers”.
During lunch you will have a chance to network with other PTA leaders from all over Contra Costa County. Afternoon training workshops, presented by experienced California State PTA and Thirty-Second District PTA leaders will follow, with the event ending at 2:30pm

The Thirty-Second District PTA is a volunteer non-profit serving PTAs in the Contra Costa County. It is comprised of more than 38,000 parents, teachers and students. It is divided into six regional Councils: Bayside Council, Delta Council, Las Trampas Council, Martinez Council, Mt Diablo Council, and San Ramon Council.
