Please  help us identify, recognize and honor the heroes of the Thirty‐Second District PTA. Tell  us about their contributions and why these friends, families, administrators and others made you say WOW!   Submit an honorary service award nomination form:

Unit & Council members: Please share our flier with all and encourage them to consider the people who have made it possible for PTA to positively impact the lives of all children and families. Honorary Service Award Nominees can be:
- individuals
- organizations
- volunteers or professionals
- who have made a significant contribution to PTAs in Contra Costa County.

Think about who may have made a significant contribution or accomplishment in a unit, council or school that supports and serves the goals of PTA; let us know who these people are and what they've done to earn your admiration.

Congratulations to the 2018 recipients

About the Honorary Service Awards (HSA)

Each year, the Thirty-Second District PTA presents Honorary Service Awards to those who support families and children throughout Contra Costa County and would like your assistance in identifying outstanding nominees. Awards will be presented at the Founders Day Dinner in February 2019.

Nominations will be accepted for individuals or organizations, who are volunteers or professionals, whether a PTA member or not, who have made significant contributions to the well-being of children, youth or families throughout Contra Costa County.  While all submissions will be considered, here are some guidelines:

  • The nominee's effort is above and beyond their job or role.

  • A person's contributions within a specific unit or school are best honored by the local unit PTA; likewise,

  • Contributions within an individual council or school district are best honored by the area PTA council.

  • For more information about HSA, visit the CAPTA website .

While the Thirty-Second District PTA may be aware of individuals whose contributions are public and well-known, please also consider the many quiet contributors who "make it happen" for the benefit of the children and families in our County. All funds collected with this program are used exclusively to support the California State PTA scholarship and grant programs.
