Purposes of PTA Publications

• Encourage involvement with the child in the home and the school.
• Inform every family in the school of the aims and accomplishments of the unit.
• Encourage attendance at PTA meetings and parent involvement in PTA projects and activities.
• Foster cooperation with the school in keeping parents informed about school functions regulations and/or procedures on child related issues.
• Inform the community about PTA activities and school functions.

The Contra Coaster

The Contra Coaster is the electronic newsletter of the 32nd District PTA and is published six times per year.  It is distributed to PTA leaders and school administrators throughout Contra Costa County. Articles in this publication may be reprinted in PTA newsletters, but please credit 32nd District PTA or our credited source. Please send address changes to Communication VP at the above email address.

The 32nd District Directory contains contact information for all PTA schools, their presidents, treasurers, principals, Council and District PTA Boards, and superintendents within Contra Costa County. It is distributed in the Fall after all the contact information is collected.
